Essential Oil Candle // Palo Santo

$15.00

PALO SANTO AROMA FAMILIES: Woody, balsamic, resinous, spice, sweet, herbaceous, earthy, floral, sweet

The woody, citrus, and sweet minty-licorice-spice of Palo Santo (bursera graveolens) blends with the deep vanilla, clove-like leathery notes of Balsam of Peru (myroxylon balsamum var. pereirae). Known for its woody and sweet balsamic aroma with notes of citrus, mint, and soft spice on the finish, the Palo Santo tree is a favorite incense used in sacred ceremonies and spiritual practices for thousands of years. Its aroma evokes an ambiance of calm and sacred contemplation like its cousins from its botanical family (Burseraceae), frankincense and myrrh. We use essential oil steam distilled from its heartwood and blend it with Balsam of Peru, another plant burned as incense in religious ceremonies as far back as the early Mayan culture. Richly balsamic, deep vanilla-sweet aroma, with soft clove-like and mild woody, smoky, leathery-animalic undertones are rounded out with star anise, sweet fennel and cassia.

ALL NATURAL, PLANT-BASED. Each candle is handmade using botanically-derived cannabis terpenes, ethically sourced essential plant oils, 100% virgin coconut soy wax, and FSC-certified wooden wicks.
100% UPCYCLED GLASS. We hand pour each of our candles into a limited quantity of vintage glassware and used candle containers—sourced from local thrift shops, yard sales, estate auctions, and donations—which are then cleaned and upcycled into GOOD TREE® candles
BURN TIME: Approximate burn time is 5 hours per ounce.
ORIGIN: Handmade in Narberth, PA

CANDLES WITH A CAUSE. Each purchase helps improve the water quality in Darby Creek Watershed and John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge by funding stream bank restoration projects farther upstream at the start of Indian Creek. All proceeds go to The Friends of Narberth Park, a community-based non-profit working to build green infrastructure in Narberth and improve our local habitat by rebuilding the pollinator pathways by preserving our open space and planting native pollinator plants.
